My Story

Hi, I’m Shauna Breyer, a lifelong Minnesotan, proud mom of six, and candidate for Lieutenant Governor alongside Brad Kohler.

My husband and I have been married for 19 years (together for 26), and we’ve built our life right here in the state we love. I started working at a young age in my family’s businesses, tanning salons and hotels, and that strong work ethic has stayed with me ever since.

Like many families, we’ve faced challenges, but I’ve never been one to quit. That perseverance defines who I am.

For the past several years, I’ve owned and operated my own daycare, caring for children and supporting families in our community. That experience has given me a firsthand understanding of what Minnesota families truly need.

I’m running because I want a better future for my kids and for yours. I want our children to grow up, stay here, and build strong families of their own.

I’m not a career politician, I’m someone who’s lived real life. I believe in honest conversations, hard work, and putting people first.
